Latest Results Workshop Paper Submission

APCC2015 Executive Committee has decided to hold "APCC2015 Latest Results Workshop" to discuss the very latest research results during APCC2015. Prospective authors are cordially invited to submit original technical papers for presentation and discussion at the workshop. We accept the following two categories of papers in "APCC Latest Results Workshop." All submitted papers will be peer reviewed and accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings, but NOT included in IEEE Xplore.

All papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format via EDAS.

Papers must be written using the IEEE conference proceedings style format (A4, two-column and 10-point font).

  1. Full paper for oral presentation: 4 to 6 pages in length with maximum paper length not exceeding 8 pages. Extra page charges (100 USD/page) will apply to papers exceeding 6 pages.
  2. Short paper for poster presentation: 2 pages in length with maximum paper length not exceeding 4 pages.

*After acceptance notification, the authors of accepted papers will be required to complete author registration by the August 15 deadline. Camera ready submission will not be required unless editorial modification is requested by APCC2015 TPC.

Paper Submission open from January 2015

NEW! Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.
All APCC2015 papers will also be included in IEICE I-Scover. Additionally, an opportunity will be provided for submission to a special issue on APCC2015 of IEICE Transactions on Communications.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

All papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format and should not exceed 5 pages. Each submission must be accompanied by the following information:

  • a short abstract
  • a complete list of authors and their affiliations
  • e-mail addresses
  • the topic(s) to which the paper pertains.

Authors are expected to present their papers at the conference, and at least one author must register at the full rate for publication.

Theme: Innovating Communications Networks toward Sustainable and Smart Society

The 21st Asia-Pacific Conference on Communications (APCC2015) will be held in Kyoto, Japan, the ancient Capitol of Japan with rich Japanese traditions combined with modern cultures. Since 1993, APCC has been the forum for researchers and engineers in the Asia-Pacific region to present and discuss about advanced information and communication technologies and services, while opening the door to the world at the same time.

Theme of APCC2015 is "Innovating Communications Networks toward Sustainable and Smart Society." Communications networks are now indispensable for our daily life and being used in various ways everywhere to make our life smart and comfortable and communication traffic is increasing in a very high pace. In addition, we need to pay attentions to sustainability of our society and communications networks. Thus, continuing innovation of communications networks with advanced technologies is strongly required.

Prospective authors are invited to submit original technical papers for presentation at the conference and publication in the conference proceedings. All papers of APCC2015 will be included in IEICE I-Scover. Furthermore, an opportunity will be provided for submission to a special issue on APCC2015 of IEICE Transactions on Communications.
