Creating a PDF Version of your Paper using IEEE PDF eXpress

The camera-ready submission MUST be in PDF format only. The PDF file will be later uploaded to IEEE Xplore, under the condition that it meets the PDF specifications for IEEE Xplore. To create an IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF or to verify that your self-created PDF file is IEEE Xplore-compliant, the APCC2015 TPC strongly recommends the use of the IEEE PDF eXpress service.

The IEEE PDF eXpress service for APCC2015 is available now and can be used as follows:

  • Go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site: http://www.pdf-express.org/
    • If you are new to IEEE PDF eXpress, create a new account using Conference ID 35596X.
    • If you already have your account on IEEE PDF eXpress, login with Conference ID 35596X
  • Submit your PDF file (for checking) or source files (for conversion). For conversion, following formats are acceptable as source files:
    • (La)TeX (a DVI and supported image files must be included in a compressed archive)
    • Microsoft Word
    • PageMaker (images should not be embedded, included with main file in a compressed archive)
    • Other forms can be also used for conversion. See the application formats in the IEEE PDF eXpress page
  • You will receive an email with your Checked PDF or IEEE PDF eXpress-converted PDF attached.

Copyright Transfer Form

A signed statement of the copyright transfer agreement must be received by the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (the "IEICE") when you upload your final camera-ready manuscript to APCC2015.

In addition, this copyright transfer includes that authors agree to grant the following non-exclusive permissions to the IEEE in order for the above manuscript to be included in IEEE Conference Publications Program.

  • Permission to purchase, promote and sell the manuscript in IEEE electronic product offerings.

A printed copy of the copyright transfer form must be signed and uploaded to EDAS by August 15, 2015.

APCC2015 follows IEEE Publications Policies

Attendance Policy

At least one author from the submission must be registered for the conference and present at the conference. It is recommended that all accepted papers will be required to register and pay the fee before acceptance of the final paper to receive the early bird registration rate.

Plagiarism and Dual Submissions

By submitting a manuscript to APCC2015, the authors guarantee that the manuscript has not been previously published (or accepted for publication) in substantially similar form. Furthermore, no paper which contains significant overlap with the contributions of the current paper is either under review at the moment of submission or will be submitted during the APCC2015 review period to any of the following: another conference, a workshop, or a journal.

Please note that APCC2015 will also process manuscripts through IEEE's plagiarism check software to identify and eliminate plagiarism. This includes excessive self-duplication and dependence on earlier published works, as well as duplicated and unattributed content. APCC2015 asks that your paper's content be original, previously unpublished, non-confidential and without commercial content.

Guidelines for avoiding plagiarism can be found here:

IEEE PSPB policies on plagiarism:
http://www.ieee.org/publications_standards/publications/rights/plagiarism_FAQ.html

Plagiarism free resource and information site:http://www.plagiarism.org/

Publication No Show Policy

Papers will be published in the conference proceedings only if at least one of the authors is officially registered and the paper presented. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.

Authorization to Publish

A signed statement of the copyright transfer agreement must be received by the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (the "IEICE") when you upload your final camera-ready manuscript to APCC2015.

In addition, this copyright transfer includes that authors agree to grant the following non-exclusive permissions to the IEEE in order for the above manuscript to be included in IEEE Conference Publications Program.

1. Permission to purchase, promote and sell the manuscript in IEEE electronic product offerings.
2. Permission to render print copies for administrative purposes.
3. Permission to render print copies for resale.

Quality

IEICE reserves the right to withhold publishing of proceedings or papers that do not meet the IEEE quality standards.

Number of Submissions

Each author is allowed to be the presenter on a maximum of two submissions (total number of submissions for technical papers, special technical papers). If you have more than two submissions that are accepted, you must register accompanying co-author(s) to present the additional submissions.
